PERSONAL PREPARATION

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time for your massage and that there are no interruptions or distractions.  A warm or hot shower before massage helps you relax and washes off any salts or chemicals that may clog your pores when mixed with massage oils.  You will be unclothed during your massage and should wear a towel or robe to the massage table;  you’ll be able to disrobe in privacy.  You will be draped with a sheet throughout the entire massage.

I use 100% organic avocado oil which I infuse with 100% organic eucalyptus essential oil.  Please advise of any allergies or sensitivities that you may have.

It is very important to communicate with your therapist. Let me know which areas you’d like to focus on, and inform me of any injuries, medical conditions, recent accidents, or sensitive areas.  And during the massage, let me know if you’re ever experiencing any pain or discomfort, or if you’d like the amount of pressure to be adjusted at any point throughout the massage.

And finally, make sure to drink plenty of water after receiving your massage. During a massage, harmful toxins are removed from your muscle tissue and into your bloodstream;  drinking water allows you to remove those toxins from your bloodstream, allowing your body to detox.

Other than that, just relax and enjoy your massage!
